My Lord Jesus Christ, You are my organizer. You are the only God who has total order. You are the one who gives me life changing information. You teach me how to manage my time and find a place for everything I have and keep it in a good place after I use it. You help me manage every aspect of my life. Organization is a learned set of skills. Once I learn Your wisdom and Your way, it is like riding a bike – I never will forget. You are there all the time, encouraging me and helping me to do Your will. It is Your will that I am remembering what You teach me! It is Your will that I keep organizing my life and home! Overwhelmed! Lord Jesus, give me whatever I need to move forward and get me organized and let go of whatever I don’t need or want or need to trash or give away! Things I want/need to stop buying at the thrift store: movies, bird houses, dishes, pans, books, clocks, pictures! Things I need to let go of: books, CDs! “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” Psalms 37:23 Extreme declutter! Power is in Jesus to declutter! How many toys and games do I need for my children and family? Trying gets you nowhere! You WANT to! This is a motivation word; TRY is a stopping word. My family and children are capable to clean up after themselves. What do the toys teach my children? Where am I spending money that is not needed and is cluttering my home? What are my needs? Throw away things that are broken, dirty, or need repair! This is all clutter! Sort by family member – give away or yard sale! What is the first thing I want to do? Put away? Get rid of? My house wants me to do it! Do I really want it? How many of these do I have? How do I feel throwing this away today? Where do I store it? Do I have a place for it? “From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Psalm 61:2

I will shout to everyone, “How great You are!” I lay my heart out to You, Lord, do as it pleases You! I will give my all because You loved me first! Great, great are You, Lord, Who desire my praise and obedience. Lord, how I love You, my LORD!!! Thank You, Lord for all Your blessings You have given me daily! “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” Psalm 68:19 Your stuff cannot tell a story because it is in a box. Do it! Drawer, shelves, closet. Do it to survive! You cannot be okay with clutter! The get yourself organized project: Organization is finding a proper place for something. When you are organized, you have a back-up plan. Make a list. Run things down. Set up good systems to manage your home and life. When we are disorganized, we are hard on ourselves. Make a list to do that day. When we can cross of a list, it helps us to keep going. Let me live a life God wants me to. “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.” Proverbs 16:3 Project time is time when you do it, putting a due date on you. It is very important to get ready to do the planned project. What do I have coming up so I will get it done? We do not work better on pressure when it is our busy day of the week. What could I do to prepare for that day? Get a plan and keep to it. It is a gift to think through this. Rule 1: Work backwards! Rule 2: Apply pressure when needed. Rule 3: Wait for a path to appear. Adapt to the people and family. Organize around patterns. Rule 4: Never organize alone! You can declutter with children and family. This is helping them develop. Rule 5: Treat your home like it’s a Kindergarten. Label everything. Put it in place. Find a place for everything! Clutter costs us! – Place, time, energy, and money. Space with nowhere to go. Declutter! Declutter! It gives us a goal. Care about what you are going to do with it.
God has not given you too much! Train your family in your system in your house. You must do it also as a family. When you have a routine order, you are all better! “Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:40 Your Servant Forever, Carol Lord, teach me to number my days and recognize how few they are. Help me to spend them as I should. Psalm 90:12 says, “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” You must have a routine for everything that you do! What you do in the morning after getting up:
Before bed, do a walkthrough of the house to make sure everything is in its place.
In the morning after everyone leaves, or when I am getting ready to leave, do a walkthrough to make sure everything is in its place. Psalm 89:47 says, “Remember how short my time is:” Help me to use my time wisely for Your Honor and Glory! Your Servant Forever, Carol My wonderful Jesus, You go before me, guide me, empower me, and give me the desire to declutter my home, attic, garage, and other places. You have shown me when I declutter my surroundings, that I do amazing things in my life for You. Lord Jesus, You are the One who empowers me to say goodbye to things I do not need. I choose and it is my will to let go of things in my life and home that no longer have a place and a use. “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” Hebrews 12:1 I want my home in order for the Lord Jesus Christ and His glory! “For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding you order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.” Colossians 2:5 First thing, Lord,
Your servant forever, Carol Lord, my first priority is to seek You first in everything I do. I want You to have first place in my life. Take time with You, so You can fill my heart with my needs and to relax in You so I can have a daily clearer perspective on what Your plan is for me. Give me whatever I need to provide a home setting full of sunshine, warmth, love, compassion, understanding, respect for You and Your honor. I will remove any items that will not be stored in each room. Always put them in the room where they belong. I will stop clutter! I will not let clutter come into our house! I will not bring things in my house that:
