Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, You are the One who has changed my life. You have given me simpleguidelines for keeping my home organized and clutter free.
I have lived most of my life in a hoarder’s home. Closets were full, drawers wouldn’t shut in the dresser, things weren’t put away and they were laying all around. There were many unfinished projects. When somebody was coming over, my mom would get us all nine of us together to put the house in order the best we could. I now realize that our problem with the clutter was that we never learned how to keep a house in order. Mom never learned the skills so they we never did either.
We could never get ahead of the mess. We just kept bringing in and collecting things we didn’t need. We would often receive gifts from people but didn’t know how to keep it all organized. We didn’t have a system that would keep our home clutter free. This is also a generation curse. It came down from someone in our family. Our only option to break this generational curse was to learn new things we had never been taught. We had to learn how to be clutter free. As I looked around I noticed others in our family with the same problems. Aunts, uncles, you name it.
Thank God that this is no longer the case. Today, I have Jesus who goes before me and gives me the tools, helpers, energy, wisdom and will to empower and guide me in removing this generational curse and anything else that is not pleasing to Him. As a believer, I know Jesus works. How many times has He went before in other areas of my life. So why not organization? He is more than willing, we just have to believe that He is.
Now, every room in my home rests in a state of love and order—free from the generational curse of hoarding and it’s depressing physical and mental effects. The enemy no longer has power over me I this area of life. Our Lord and God wants our lives to be clutter free so we can see and hear Him more clearly and spend quality time with Him. I have found a system that works very well for my family and I. Give it all to Jesus! As you let Jesus guide and empower you, I believe you can do the same…no matter how much clutter you have. Your home will be clutter free in Christ.
Pray: I choose and it is my will is to ask, trust, and believe in You, my Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty who has everything I need to remove all clutter in my home and who empowers me to get and stay organized! Amen!
As I’m sure you may know, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). All we have to do is believe in our hearts that Jesus will teach and empower us to get organized. We are to believe that our Lord truly is Almighty and that He wants our homes to be clutter free so we can serve Him in a greater way. In order to get where you want to be, you just need a little extra strength and what better place to get it than from the Creator of Heaven and earth.
For you, the first step to living a clutter free life is taking to heart and believing that it’s entirely possible with Jesus. It’s all starts with faith. We have to realize that we will never get there if we do not resolve in our minds that we truly can accomplish all things through Christ who continually strengthens us. Our greatest hope is in and with Jesus, who empowers us to take each small step. Then, another…and another…and another. Before you know it, you’ll be clutter free in Christ!
Pray: My Great Savior, Lord, and God who can do all things and holds my life in the palm of Your hand, You are the One who goes before me and empowers and guides me to take all the right steps toward organization. You are the One who gives me the desires, diligence, time, knowledge, understanding, wisdom and obedience to put my home in order for Your honor, glory, and kingdom within in me and in my life.
Starting today, walk through your house, garage, shed, car, yard and anywhere else that needs order and pray something along the lines of, “Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, I do believe that you will go before me and empower me to be clutter free in every area of this life You have given me for Your honor and glory. I do believe in Your power and I know that, as of this day, You are working all things together for good on my behave (Romans 8:28). So be it. Amen!” Every time you see your clutter, repeat a prayer like this and thank God for His Almighty power.
Pray: Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty, I choose and it is my will to receive Your power and take the first step in being organized of believing and trusting in You. As I believe in You, You are going before me and setting Your plan in motion. You are the One who loves me and wants me to have a clean, orderly, and clutter free home to live in harmony, peace, and joy for Your honor and glory. Amen!
